Feeling unsure about how to document your voice or singing voice sessions? You’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.

Voice Notes: Practical Documentation for Voice Clinicians is a beginner-friendly course designed for SLPs and voice professionals who want to build confidence in documenting voice therapy sessions. Whether you’re struggling with writing measurable goals, describing what you hear, or tracking client progress over time, this course offers clear, practical guidance to help you document with accuracy and ease.

We’ll walk you through real examples, offer language you can actually use, and share tools that make clinical writing more efficient—without adding stress to your workflow.

In this one-hour introductory-level course, participants will build their skills in documentation and analysis of voice therapy sessions.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify strategies for documenting voice and singing voice goals, progress, and client performance in clinical and studio settings.

  2. Describe how subjective and objective data can be used to monitor change, support treatment planning, and advocate for clients.

  3. Develop a documentation workflow that aligns with your personal or workplace setting while remaining efficient and effective.
